Lexus is working on LF-Gh concept (The current IS and GS from Lexus have been running for a while. The Japanese premium brand will shortly be taking the canvas of a new study model, which should give an indication of what the new models will look like.
During the New York Motor Show, starting on 19 April, Lexus unveils the LF-Gh concept, reports the British AutoCar. Many details about that are not yet known, except that the model will indicate where Lexus wants to go with its cars in terms of design.
We can expect the new Lexus GS in 2012, as well as the successor to the current IS. Both cars are on the same platform, with the GS having a longer wheelbase than the IS. The appearance of the Lexus CT allows the other two to grow in terms of space and positioning in the market.
The engine range is likely to remain largely the same as the current models, with the new top-GS being equipped with a four-liter V6 with hybrid drive, and the IS a four-cylinder with hybrid technology.
